At Music Together with Ms Maria, we believe music-making is for everyone! Our classes are designed for children from birth through age five and their parents or caregivers to experience the joy of making music in a fun, interactive, and engaging environment. Through singing, movement, and instrument play, children explore music in a way that supports their development, helping them grow socially, cognitively, and musically. Using Music Together®'s internationally recognized, research-based curriculum, we create a warm and welcoming space where families can bond and make lasting musical memories. Music Together with Ms Maria is the perfect family activity at Kaizen Jiu Jitsu in San Marcos, Dance Unlimitied, Buda, and The Blank Space Yoga in Kyle!

First day of class magic

 

This class has an 8 month old, several 2 year olds and one almost 4 year old and yesterday the all showed musical growth especially rhythmically! During one of the songs we brought out the gathering drums. I asked each child (except baby!) how they wanted to play the drums and most of them played and kept a steady beat and we (the grownups) followed their lead. The kids decide if they want to play, this class isn’t performative but celebrates musical growth. 

These children have been with me for a few semesters now and it’s such a joy to see their musical growth, confidence, leadership, and a deepening sense of rhythm. Moments like this are a powerful reminder of what happens when children are given time, consistency, and trust to grow musically. I’m a very proud music teacher!
