This class has an 8 month old, several 2 year olds and one almost 4 year old and yesterday the all showed musical growth especially rhythmically! During one of the songs we brought out the gathering drums. I asked each child (except baby!) how they wanted to play the drums and most of them played and kept a steady beat and we (the grownups) followed their lead. The kids decide if they want to play, this class isn’t performative but celebrates musical growth. 

These children have been with me for a few semesters now and it’s such a joy to see their musical growth, confidence, leadership, and a deepening sense of rhythm. Moments like this are a powerful reminder of what happens when children are given time, consistency, and trust to grow musically. I’m a very proud music teacher! 

Our next semester is just around the corner, and I can't wait to make music with your little ones! We'll be singing, moving, playing instruments, and celebrating all those joyful musical moments that support your child's growth.
